Custom Engraving

Ti Amo Memorial Bench with Engraving

Ti Amo Memorial Bench with Engraving - Young Redwood
Would you like to add an engraving to your bench? We can add a custom message for only $20 for up to 50 characters (letters and spaces) or $30 for 51-100 characters. See examples to the right, shown on our Ti Amo Memorial Benches. Just select the "Custom Engraving" option in the drop-down menu in your shopping cart. The engraving size translates to about 14 characters per foot. Lettering is black. We will center the engraving on the top board of the backrest or the seat of a backless bench, unless you specify elsewhere. Please let us know your instructions on placement and line break(s)— if not specified, they will be placed at shop's discretion.

Memorial Plaque Inlay

5-Foot Rustic Bench with Memorial Plaque - Old-Growth RedwoodWe can also inlay a memorial plaque from your local engraver— we don't order or make the plaques ourselves— for no additional charge. Once your plaque is made you can ship it to us at 33800 Annapolis Rd., Annapolis, CA 95412. Be sure to let us know during checkout in the "Special Instructions & Custom Requests" comment box that you will be sending a plaque so we know to hold your bench until it arrives. Then give us a call or use our contact form when you ship it so we can be on the lookout for it. We will then inlay your plaque in the center of the top backrest board, unless otherwise specified. If placed in this location, the plaque can be up to 3" and any width you like. If there is no backrest (backless bench), please let us know where you'd like the plaque placed.

5-Foot Massive Garden Bench with Custom Cushion - Young Redwood Ruth Deep Rocking Chairs with Custom Cushions - Mature Redwood, Cushion Fabric is Sunbrella's Pacific Blue Ruth Armchairs with Custom Cushions and Surf Side Table - Mature RedwoodIf you'd like a cushion for your order, please visit Sunbrella Central to choose from the hundreds of outdoor fabrics they have for your cushion. Make a note of the Sunbrella fabric's name and number you'd like. Then, when placing your furniture order, the shopping cart will ask if you'd like a cushion. If you choose the cushion, there will be a box where you can type the fabric name and number. Most Sunbrella fabrics are under $20/yard and are included in the cushion price. If you prefer a premium fabric over $20/yard, just write it in the box at checkout. The cost over $20/yard will be manually added to your order total.

Sunbrella fabric is made to sit out in the sun and not fade. It's machine washable. Each cushion has a zipper so you can remove the foam and wash the fabric. We will create and ship your custom cushion with your order. Choose whatever beautiful fabric you like— just let us know the name/number of the fabric you'd like us to order to make your cushion.

Outdoor Furniture Covers

We can make custom covers for any of our furniture using Sunbrella fabric. Browse through the swatches at www.sunbrellacentral.com and then let us know which fabric you'd like us to use for which piece of furniture. We will send an estimate for your custom furniture cover within two business days.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our four grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of six ways (select during checkout):

  • Standard Sealant

    If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a quality semi-transparent linseed & tung oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 2 years. (Young-Growth will be stained to appear like Mature-Growth; learn more.)

  • Premium Sealant

    If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

  • Unfinished

    Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

  • Off-White Oil-Based Primer

    If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

  • Gray Oil-Based Primer

    If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

  • Wax Finish

    If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
