The new and improved Aviary Oasis Birdfeeder has a completely removable roof to add seed— just unscrew the bolt in the top. Choose between Standard Roof Eaves and XW Roof Eaves. Every other acrylic panel can be raised up to 1 inch to allow the seed to flow. The panels stay where you place them— either opened up to an inch off the feeder floor or shut. Ships fully assembled.

A stainless steel eyebolt is included for hanging the feeder from an eave or tree branch. Keep in mind that the birdfeeder full of seed may weigh up to 20 lbs or more, so only hang from a sturdy branch or other support. If you don't want to have to lift the feeder off its branch and put it on the ground to refill it, consider mounting it on a pole.

Tip: If you don't already own them, you may want to purchase a mounting pole and mounting bracket, and perhaps also a squirrel baffle, for your Aviary Paradise Birdfeeder. Heath Outdoor Products makes items that work perfectly with our feeder. The Heath item MP-8M includes the mounting socket for setting in concrete, a 54 inch adjustable pole, and the mounting bracket with screws. Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
