Greg's Bookcase Dimensions

Greg's Bookcase is built with vertical 2" thick boards and the individual shelves are 1" thick. It's identical either way—upside down or right side up. We can make them in any size and can place the shelves at varying heights. If you order the standard shelf without any comments added, it will be built as described above with each board equidistant from each other. If you'd like the individual shelves at varying heights or made thicker (like the 2-inch framing for example), just mention it in the comment box at checkout. No extra charge as long as there are no more shelves added.

If you need a custom size or custom options (like no backing to the bookcase), just choose a size that is as close as possible to the size you'd like but a bit larger. Click the add to cart button, then choose the standard options you'd like (wood grade, finish option, etc.) and then in the comment box below your selection, just write what you'd like. For example, you can write something like: "Please custom size my bookcase to be 44" H x 37" W. I'd like only 2 shelves between the top and bottom shelf. One at 11" off the ground and the other at 30" off the ground. I don't want a backing to the bookcase. Please leave it open on the backside."

Greg's Corner DVD Storage Shelf Dimensions

Shelving is 31"L on the left side, 25"L on the right side, 6 1/4"D x 9 1/4"H. Triangular equipment stand is 37"L across the front and 25" L on each side going back to the corner wall.

Custom Sizing

Like Greg's Corner DVD Storage Shelf but need different dimensions? Have a different design in mind? Just contact us with your specific requirements and we'll put together a quote for your approval. A set of autocad drawings are included with each custom shelving order to make sure all dimensions and bolt holes are clearly agreed on prior to construction. Drawings are made at no extra cost. Sorry, we cannot make autocad drawings for non-customers. Drawings are time consuming and we just don't have the staff available. If you have a drawing or a sketch, send it along and we'll quote the job for you. But, we'll still make an autocad drawing prior to beginning any custom shelf order to avoid any misunderstandings.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our five grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $10 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the U.S. or Canada (includes HI and AK). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
