La Grange Chaise Loungers
The La Grange is our original lounger. It is built with longevity in mind using our trademark "thick-timber" design. The double version was first built and named by customer request in 2001.

Our lounger line has developed over the years mostly from customer feedback. Our La Grange, Penny's, Tony's, Sol, and Pool Chaise Loungers have 5 backrest settings, from flat (parallel to the ground) to approximately 70 degrees for maximum flexibility and comfort. They are 74" long with the backrest 28" and the bed 46". They come in Single, Honeymoon, and Double sizes. The Double size has two separately adjustable backs. Perfect for relaxing, snoozing, reading, or just enjoying the sun! These same loungers are all photographed at the standard 13" height. But we can also build your lounger bed at an 18" height at no extra cost. Just let us know in the "Special Options & Custom Requests" box upon checkout. You can also order these chaise loungers with or without wheels. La Grange, Penny's, and Tony's Chaise Loungers have slide-out snack tray(s). Single Loungers have one tray on the right side (standard) but you can choose to have yours on the left side (during the checkout process). Both Honeymoon and Double Loungers have double trays (one on each side). All the loungers are sanded to 150 grit for a smooth to the touch feel. |
Penny's Chaise Loungers Penny's Lounger was developed next for Ms. Penny White of Healdsburg, CA in 2002 based on a drawing she made. A sun worshiper, Penny told us recently she has used her lounger regularly for the past 6 years. Penny's Loungers are our most popular sellers year after year. Of course, they are built with our trademark "thick-timber" design.

Tony's Chaise Loungers Tony's loungers were developed in 2003 for a client in Hawaii. It's named after our head carpenter, Tony Toledo. Tony wanted the Penny lounger named after him (he designed it), but it was Penny's idea after all. Tony's lounger is a variation on the La Grange with the slats running lengthwise, and also using our trademark "thick-timber" design.

Pool Chaise Loungers To satisfy requests for lighter and less expensive loungers, in 2006 we developed the Pool Loungers. They are attractive and sturdy at half the weight and nearly half the price of our larger original designs.

Sol Chaise Loungers Developed in 2006 as a lighter and less expensive alternative to our original loungers, our Sol Lounger is a wonderful complement to any pool or patio area.

Stacey's Steamer Chaise Loungers
Our most recent addition to the lounger line is Stacey's Steamer Chair. It is a portable design built for Stacey A. from Ontario, Canada. Stacey's Steamer Chaise Loungers fold in three for easy storage. Because of its foldable design, it is the only one of our loungers with a fixed backrest setting (while the other loungers all have 5 backrest position settings). Stacey's Steamer Chair's backrest is set at a comfortable fixed position good for reading, relaxing and snoozing. We even keep one in our production office shop for the occasional just-after-lunch short snooze!

Custom Cushions For Your Chaise Loungers
Handmade Custom Cushions are available for our loungers. Just go to www.sunbrellacentral.com and let us know which outdoor fabric you’d like us to order to make your cushion. At checkout, the shopping cart will ask if you’d like a cushion. If you choose the cushion, there will be a box where you can type the fabric name and number. Most Sunbrella fabrics are under $20/yard and are included in the cushion price. If you prefer a premium fabric over $20/yard, just write it in the box at checkout. The cost over $20/yard will be manually added to your order total. Single sized loungers use 3 yards of fabric, the Honeymooner uses 4, and the Double uses 5. Lounger cushions are box construction with the fabric cut flush to the edge creating a line along the borders (no welt). At checkout, you can choose between a three or four-inch thick high density foam insert. The bottom side is made with a thick rubbery fabric to help keep the cushion from sliding. Also, your cushion can be made in three ways (same price):
- With just one seam separating the backrest from the bed (2-section design)—see first photo above (not recommended for the Penny Loungers).
- Or for space saving, a second seam is added to the bed so the cushion folds compactly in 3 sections (recommended design for the Penny Loungers).
- Or, the most compact design is made with five sections (two for the backrests and three for the beds that folds up accordion style)—see the rest of photos above.
Handmade Custom Cushions: First visit Sunbrella Central to choose the outdoor fabric for your cushion. At checkout, the shopping cart will ask if you'd like a cushion. If you choose the cushion, there will be a box where you can type the fabric name and number. Most Sunbrella fabrics are under $20/yard and are included in the cushion price. Sunbrella fabric is made to sit out in the sun and not fade. It's machine washable. Each cushion has a zipper so you can remove the foam and wash the fabric. We will create and ship your custom cushion with your order. Choose whatever beautiful fabric you like— just let us know the name/number of the fabric you'd like us to order to make your cushion.
Outdoor Furniture Covers: We can make custom covers for any of our furniture using Sunbrella fabric. Browse through the swatches at www.sunbrellacentral.com and then let us know which fabric you'd like us to use for which piece of furniture. We will send an estimate for your custom furniture cover within two business days.

Because we always offer to customize any design, customer feedback over the years has helped us develop not only our lounger line, but many benches, tables, swings, planters, and others.
