Once in the three-gallon pots, the seedlings are kept in our nursery for up to two years so that they can then be planted with well established root systems.

Forever Redwood was founded initially in the 1990's as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) California corporation, The Old-Growth Again Project (OGA). OGA gratefully accepts tax-deductible charitable contributions which may be directed toward specific forest restoration projects, or applied in general to help fund our ongoing forest restoration work.

Old-Growth Again's forest restoration work is labor and capital intensive (learn more about our forest restoration work). We maintain a nursery of over 5,000 seedlings (in 3 to 5-gallon pots for best survival and growth in the wild) and a crew of eight full-time employees continually thinning, planting and doing erosion projects. A portion of our forest restoration funding comes from the Forever Redwood patio furniture line we manufacture. But, the furniture sales cannot cover all of the restoration costs or raise funds for future forestland purchases. Donations help us maintain the nursery and tree planting programs and help fund the purchase of additional forestlands around us that are in poor condition.

We gratefully accept contributions of any size. All donations are fully tax-deductible. For donations of $50 or more, we will send you an Old-Growth Again T-shirt. Adult T-shirts are 100% pre-shrunk cotton, all white with green lettering and long-sleeved.

Please click here to make a credit card donation of any amount, and be sure to let us know what size T-shirt you wear!

Old-Growth Again has gratefully accepted many grants both from public entities and private individuals. We thank everyone for their generous support. We have grown from a 40-acre experiment in the early 1990's to managing 580 acres today. We could not have accomplished this without the generous support of hundreds of our "like-minded" friends. Thank you. If you would like your name listed, we are planning to start a donor list in the near future. Just let us know at the time of your donation.

Please contact us for more information on how you can personally contribute.
