Engraved Wood Sign Dimensions
Our Engraved Wood Signs are made from 1×4 boards (7/8" x 3 1/2" finished dimensions) up to 24 inches long and can accommodate a total of engraving up to 60 characters (letters + spaces)—30 characters per line on up to two lines. The letters take up 1 3/4" in height and almost 3/4" in width and are 5/16th of an inch deep.
Unless you specify otherwise, the sign will be 3 3/4"H x 24"L x 3/4"W. If you would prefer any size smaller than this, there is no extra charge—just write your preferred size in the comment box in the shopping cart and type in your exact engraving phrase including capitalizations, punctuation, and spacing. It will be engraved exactly as you type it.
All signs are finely sanded and have the routered edge detail shown in the photo above. Do you need a larger sign for your business? See our Large Engraved Signs.

Finish Options
Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):
Premium Sealant
If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.
Unfinished
Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.
Off-White Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)
Gray Oil-Based Primer
If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)
Wax Finish
If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
