Need a Large Engraved Sign that will last forever? We can do just about anything as an engraved sign and here's an example of a 2008 custom job. It was built 3 3/4" thick from Mature Redwood to be extra strong. The construction is similar to a seamless tabletop, doubled up with timbers running perpendicular behind it for added structural strength. It had 2 coats of oil-based primer first and then 3 coats of the various colors. All the lettering and artwork was engraved by hand with a router into the wood prior to painting. The sign including all the engraving and painting work took 2 weeks to finish and is in service at the Bases Loaded restaurant located at 400 G St, Antioch, CA 94509.
