Old-Growth Again Restoration Forestry, Inc. (OGA) Mission Statement

The continuing disappearance of old-growth forest habitat accelerates the global decline of wildlife and biological diversity and is a factor in climate change.  Restoration forestry reverses this decline by recreating old-growth habitat while contributing economically to the human society around it.

OGA was founded to restore and manage forest land within a growing restorative business model (ecology and economy). OGA’s restoration manual outlines all aspects of forest management. By limiting the amount of wood harvested and adhering to many other restoration standards, the forest yields wood for human use while adding volume decade by decade as it recreates mature and old-growth trees again.
