Rectangular Patio Table Options

Our standard tabletop is 36 inches wide. However, our tables are used outdoors, indoors, in business settings…so if you need a different width for your application, you can easily customize your order. The current options that you will find during the checkout process are: 30", 42", 48", 54", and 60". For example, if your table will be used for dining and you frequently serve meals using large platters or bowls, you might want the additional space for your guests.

Standard or Seamless Tabletop

Our seamless tabletop option is ideal for use in an covered patio or indoors. It can be taken outdoors for a meal or party but isn't designed for outdoor living. The seamless construction creates a beautiful unbroken tabletop surface that is just as strong as our standard tabletop. But outdoor tabletop boards need "breathing" room to expand and contract to the constant changes in moisture and temperature. The standard tabletop boards are separated by 1/16-inch to allow for this movement.

Parquet and Old Country Tabletops

You can order any Picnic or Patio table with a Parquet Tabletop. If you select the Parquet design, any benches for the set will be matching parquet benchtops by default. If you prefer benches in a different design, just mention it in the comment section at checkout. The parquet pieces will be naturally varied in color as shown at right. When left outdoors the color will slowly even out. The Parquet Tabletop choice is available during the checkout process at no additional charge.

You can also choose our Old Country Tabletop option. The Old Country design is an old European design that can be used either outdoors or indoors. For indoors, you can choose a seamless tabletop design with no spacing between the boards. For year round outdoor applications, please choose our standard tabletop design (1/16" spacing between the boards) to let the boards move with the changing temperature and moisture.

For table sets with benches, you may choose between Forever Picnic Benches, Traditional Picnic Benches (with criss-cross leg style), or Trestle Benches for no extra charge; or Patio Benches for an additional charge.

Long tables ship with 2 half-length benches. We don't normally offer 10-foot long or longer separate benches because for most applications they tend to be impressive looking but not very practical. But, if you would like a long set of benches for your 10- to 14-foot long table, just let us know if this is your preference in the comment box upon checkout. Benches this long require a support in the center, which can be done as shown at right (a tapered 2x6) or we can add a third set of legs.

All tables are 31"H. The table aprons are 3"H. Boards are fully two inches thick.

6-Foot Patio Table

8-Foot Patio Table

96"L x 36"W. Approx. Weight of Table Alone is 160 lbs.

10-Foot Patio Table

120"L x 36"W. Approx. Weight of Table Alone is 220 lbs. The legs on our 10-Foot tables are made from 4" thick timbers for proper support.

12-Foot Patio Table

14-Foot Patio Table

168"L x 36"W. Approx. Weight of Table Alone is 340 lbs.

If you choose end benches with your set, they are built 6" shorter than the width of the table, in order to insure that benches don't bump. Just let us know if you'd like something different.

Picnic Table Benches Dimensions

All benches are 17" tall with 12" wide seats and 17" wide bases. They are made from full two-inch thick boards.

Custom Cushions for Chairs: $65 each. Option available during checkout. Handmade Custom Cushions If you'd like a cushion for your order, please visit Sunbrella Central to choose from the hundreds of outdoor fabrics they have for your cushion. Make a note of the Sunbrella fabric's name and number you'd like. Then, when placing your furniture order, the shopping cart will ask if you'd like a cushion. If you choose the cushion, there will be a box where you can type the fabric name and number. Most Sunbrella fabrics are under $20/yard and are included in the cushion price. If you prefer a premium fabric over $20/yard, just write it in the box at checkout. The cost over $20/yard will be manually added to your order total. Sunbrella fabric is made to sit out in the sun and not fade. It's machine washable. Each cushion has a zipper so you can remove the foam and wash the fabric. We will create and ship your custom cushion with your order. Choose whatever beautiful fabric you like— just let us know the name/number of the fabric you'd like us to order to make your cushion. Outdoor Furniture Covers We can make custom covers for your furniture using Sunbrella fabric. The selection of truly waterproof canvas type materials is limited to a dozen choices of solid colors. Browse through the swatches and let us know which canvas fabric you'd like us to use for which piece of furniture. We will send an estimate for your custom furniture cover within two business days.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our five grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
