The redwood furniture came today. It was in excellent condition. Packing scrap wood around the furniture was a good idea. We followed the match marking and everything went together with no trouble. However, our tables are used outdoors, indoors, in business settings…so if you need a different width for your application, you can easily customize your order. The current options that you will find during the checkout process are: 30", 42", 48", 54", and 60". For example, if your table will be used for dining and you frequently serve meals using large platters or bowls, you might want the additional space for your guests. Standard or Seamless Tabletop  Parquet and Old Country Tabletops  L-R: Parquet, Old Country Tabletops You can order any Picnic or Patio table with a Parquet Tabletop. If you select the Parquet design, any benches for the set will be matching parquet benchtops by default. If you prefer benches in a different design, just mention it in the comment section at checkout. The parquet pieces will be naturally varied in color as shown at right. When left outdoors the color will slowly even out. The Parquet Tabletop choice is available during the checkout process at no additional charge. You can also choose our Old Country Tabletop option. The Old Country design is an old European design that can be used either outdoors or indoors. For indoors, you can choose a seamless tabletop design with no spacing between the boards. For year round outdoor applications, please choose our standard tabletop design (1/16" spacing between the boards) to let the boards move with the changing temperature and moisture. Squared or Rounded Corners   Another custom option you may choose, at no additional charge, is to have the corners of both your table and benches be squared (technically, 3/16" radius, for structural soundness), slightly rounded (1/2" radius), or fully rounded (1" radius). The photos show an 8-Foot Picnic Table on the left with squared corners, and our Kid's Picnic Tables on the right with fully rounded corners (1" radius). The 1/2" radius rounding is a compromise between the two (see drawing at right). Just choose which option you would like during checkout.Umbrella Hole   Chairs For all with table sets with chairs, you'll be able to choose between three different styles: Luna, Ruth or Massive—and whether you want them with or without arms. L-R: Forever Picnic Bench, Traditional Picnic Bench, Trestle Bench, Patio Bench, Long Benches For table sets with benches, you may choose between Forever Picnic Benches, Traditional Picnic Benches (with criss-cross leg style), or Trestle Benches for no extra charge; or Patio Benches for an additional charge. Long tables ship with 2 half-length benches. We don't normally offer 10-foot long or longer separate benches because for most applications they tend to be impressive looking but not very practical. But, if you would like a long set of benches for your 10- to 14-foot long table, just let us know if this is your preference in the comment box upon checkout. Benches this long require a support in the center, which can be done as shown at right (a tapered 2x6) or we can add a third set of legs. Seating Capacity for Rectangular Tables with BenchesCapacities listed below were calculated using 36"W tabletops for tables up to and including 12-Foot, and 48"W for 14-Foot.
