Heritage Picnic Table Options
Heritage Picnic Tabletops are available in 36", 48", and 60" widths. If you frequently serve meals using large platters or bowls, you may want additional space for your guests. The standard width is 36". You can choose a wider tabletop during checkout.
Standard or Adjusted Leg Flair
The traditional leg flair on our picnic tables is 47 inches (measured from the outside of the legs). However, some customers prefer to make this leg flair less wide, in order to accommodate detached benches or chairs. If you prefer this option, just choose the Adjusted Leg Flair option at checkout. We will reduce the leg flair width to the same as the width of the table, to a maximum of 47 inches.
Standard or Seamless Tabletop
Our seamless tabletop option is ideal for use in an covered patio or indoors. It can be taken outdoors for a meal or party but isn't designed for outdoor living. The seamless construction creates a beautiful unbroken tabletop surface that is just as strong as our standard tabletop. But outdoor tabletop boards need "breathing" room to expand and contract to the constant changes in moisture and temperature. The standard tabletop boards are separated by 1/16-inch to allow for this movement.
Squared or Rounded Corners
Umbrella Hole
Want to enjoy an umbrella with your table? We do not sell umbrellas, but we will drill a two-inch umbrella hole for you at no charge. Simply select this option at check-out. A plug is included with the umbrella hole option– see images at right.

Heritage Rectangular Picnic Table Dimensions
Tables alone with standard tabletop are 36"W X 30"H, and 63"W with attached benches. The legs of the tables flare out to 46 1/2"W at the base/ground level. Benches—whether attached or detached—have a benchtop made with one board 12"W. Detached benches have legs that flare out to 17" at base/ground level. Boards are fully 2" thick. If you choose end tables with your set, they are built 6" shorter than the width of the table, in order to insure that benches don't bump. Just let us know if you'd like something different.
All tables over 8'L have legs made with 3" thick timbers for proper support. All tables over 10'L have 3 sets of legs for proper support.
