Planter Water Tray Options

Water holding trays are 3/4" thick and have a one-inch internal depth. They are built to slightly swell and to be waterproof. We can make Water Trays in any size that you need. They can be made to sit outside the planter box as shown, or for larger planters, they can be built to sit inside the box where you can place potted plants. You can use these planters indoors as well as outside. Just contact us with whatever size you need– or write a message in the "Special Instructions & Custom Requests" box during checkout. We will contact you with pricing.

Shipping Planters

We can custom build and ship Planter Boxes in any dimensions up to 14-Feet long anywhere in the U.S. In California we deliver planter boxes up to 20-Feet long. (If you live outside California and want a planter over 14-feet long, please contact us for a quote.) Most packages ship via FedEx Freight. See how easy it is to assemble our planter boxes!

Planter Water Tray Dimensions

Water Trays are 1 1/2" larger in length and width than the planter boxes. 2" Tall Trays can hold up to 7/8" of standing water, while 3" Tall Trays can hold up to 1 3/4"

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our five grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.

Planter Finishes

Want to use our planters indoors with a wax finish? If you plan to use your planter indoors and wish to have a wax finish applied (no sealant or primer), we will only apply the wax to the outside of the box, not to the areas that will hold soil.

Growing Veggies? Any planter can be ordered without interior treatment—just write us a note as you're checking out, and we will not use our oil-based sealant inside the box. We will seal the box on the outside only. The planter box will not decay because it is high quality wood.
