![]() Warranty & Return PoliciesOur Guarantee To YouWeather-related wood decay is warranted from eight to thirty years depending on the grade of wood. Our Douglas-fir has an 8-year decay warranty; the Mosaic Eco-Wood has a 10-year warranty; the Redwood has a 15-year decay warranty; the Mature Redwood has a 20-year decay warranty; and the Old-Growth Redwood has a 30-year decay warranty. Small cracks are not covered by the warranty. Wood moves when left outside due to the constant changes in temperature and moisture. Some small cracks are a natural consequence over the years. In the unlikely event that your wood becomes soft from decay before the warranty period expires, just contact us and we will send out replacement parts at no cost. Old-Growth Again will replace any furniture part within two years of purchase. Just send us a photo via email so we can identify the exact problem and we'll ship out the part in most cases without cost to you. We will ask for a small charge only if the damage was obviously not related to normal wear and tear. If any part is damaged in shipping, just let us know and we will send out a replacement part as quickly as possible at no cost. If any part is damaged beyond the two-year warranty period, for any reason at all, (for example: your puppy decides to chew through the leg of your furniture) just call or e-mail us. A digital photo would help identify the part quickly and easily. We will send any replacement parts necessary to repair the furniture at our cost of production and shipping only. You don't ever have to worry about replacing your entire piece of furniture. We stand behind our work. Return PoliciesForever Redwood has had few returns/cancellations since beginning furniture building in 2000. We work to constantly improve and expand our high quality product line and enjoy an excellent reputation with our customers. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on most items—the reason is, most of our furniture is hand-made with custom details including wood grade, finish, size options, and special customer requests, thus we cannot easily resell an item once it is made. This is one of the downsides of not operating a high-volume assembly line factory in China. If there is a shipping problem or fulfillment error on our part, the following policies apply: Shipping and Fulfillment ErrorsIf an item is shipped incorrectly or is damaged in transit, just call or email and we'll ship a replacement part (or complete item if necessary) at no cost. Full refunds on standard items are accepted within 5 days of delivery ticket date if Forever Redwood has made a fulfillment error. Other than a fulfillment error, if you receive an item you are unhappy with, call or email us. While we cannot take back the original item, we will arrange to make a new item or parts for you at a significantly reduced cost (or no cost in some cases) and take any other steps necessary to ensure your purchase meets your expectations. Your email or calls always receive immediate attention (within 24 hours) and if an item or parts need rebuilding for any reason, they are rush ordered to ship out within 4 business days. Cancellation of Custom OrdersCustom orders require custom-cut materials. Custom orders are unique and we have no way of reselling them. Therefore, all custom orders are non-refundable even if still in the shop. But, please keep in mind, we are always open to re-designing custom orders if you change ideas in mid-stream…. We are one of the only wood working shops on the internet available to custom build patio furniture. Custom building can be tricky and we often make autocad drawings prior to building to make sure we have all your ideas clearly detailed. We have always been willing to do this and it has generated over the years many of the items now offered as standard items. If we receive a cancellation of an order prior to beginning construction and the order was placed using a credit card, we will process a refund for the full amount minus the credit card processing expenses (3.5%) within 10 days of being notified. Don't be frightened by the legal jargon written in the paragraphs above. Our attorney made us do it! We are a friendly customer-oriented company and rarely have returns or shipping damage. We work hard to exceed our customer's expectations in both workmanship and service and we offer the flexibility to custom size just about anything on our website.
