The pergola arrived on time and in good condition. We started moving the pieces up to the roof at 5:30 am. It was a challenge getting the 18’ pieces through the halls to the Birthing Pavilion roof patio.
The installation went really well. It was complete and people sitting under it by 11 am.
Working with everyone at Forever Redwood on this project was a very good experience. Whoever I talked with was always helpful and the final outcome was just what everyone was expecting.
Using Forever Redwood goes well with other products we used for the patio re-design. The roof needed to be replaced and the patio surface also. The roof was replaced and part of it was done with a green roof, Live Roof was the system we used. You can see the plant beds around the perimeter of the patio. The pavers that were used are made of recycled rubber. The purchase of a pergola with proceeds going to Old Growth Again for their re-forestation projects is a nice fit.
Thanks to everyone for helping me finish this project. The staff in the Intensive Care Nursery, Birthing Pavilion and Grounds shop are all excited about our patients and visitor’s having a nice place to go and relax.
