Trash Bin Options

Beautify your trash! We build this handsome trash bin with a hinged lid to your dimensions— whether you need specific interior dimensions to best fit your existing plastic or metal garbage can, or you prefer to tell us exterior dimensions. Order below for all sizes up to 24"W x 24"D x 36"H (exterior dimensions). Need something larger? Just contact us.

Our "trash bin" is often purchased to be a hamper or a towel bin for pool areas. If you would like to use it in one of these ways, we can add ventilation on the bottom (1/4" holes scattered about) and some spacing between the boards on the sides (1/8") to create cross ventilation for towels and clothing. Simply select this free option upon checkout.

Super-Strong Casters

You can also add on super-strong casters that are rated to handle 320 pounds each, and they lock in place! You can add a set of four casters to your trash bin/hamper for $79 during checkout. The casters are 4" tall and we add a 1 3/4" thick extra support base for them, so the total height of the bin is increased by 5 3/4". The casters are pictured at left on our Potting Bench and a Planter Box.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our five grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
