Baja Trestle Table Options

Our standard tabletop is 36 inches wide. However, our tables are used outdoors, indoors, in business settings…so if you need a different width for your application, you can easily customize your order. The current options that you will find during the checkout process are: 30", 42", 48", 54", and 60". For example, if your table will be used for dining and you frequently serve meals using large platters or bowls, you might want the additional space for your guests.

Standard or Seamless Tabletop

Our seamless tabletop option is ideal for use in an covered patio or indoors. It can be taken outdoors for a meal or party but isn't designed for outdoor living. The seamless construction creates a beautiful unbroken tabletop surface that is just as strong as our standard tabletop. But outdoor tabletop boards need "breathing" room to expand and contract to the constant changes in moisture and temperature. The standard tabletop boards are separated by 1/16-inch to allow for this movement.

Parquet and Old Country Tabletops

You can order any Picnic or Patio table with a Parquet Tabletop. If you select the Parquet design, any benches for the set will be matching parquet benchtops by default. If you prefer benches in a different design, just mention it in the comment section at checkout. The parquet pieces will be naturally varied in color as shown at right. When left outdoors the color will slowly even out. The Parquet Tabletop choice is available during the checkout process at no additional charge.

You can also choose our Old Country Tabletop option. The Old Country design is an old European design that can be used either outdoors or indoors. For indoors, you can choose a seamless tabletop design with no spacing between the boards. For year round outdoor applications, please choose our standard tabletop design (1/16" spacing between the boards) to let the boards move with the changing temperature and moisture.

Baja Trestle Tables and Baja Trestle Benches Dimensions

Baja Trestle Tables are 36"W X 30"H. If you choose end benches with your set, they are built 6" shorter than the width of the table, in order to insure that benches don't bump with the side benches. Just let us know if you'd like something different.

Dining Chair Dimensions

Massive, Ruth, and Luna Chair (Armless) Dimensions

22"D x 40"H. Seat is 16"H x 18"D. Boards are fully 2" thick. Approx. Weights: Massive is 38 lbs., Ruth and Luna are 35 lbs.

Massive Armchair Dimensions

25"D x 26"W x 40"H including armrests. Seat is 24"W. Armrests are 25.5"H from ground. Boards are fully 2" thick. Approx. Weight: 45 lbs.

Luna and Ruth Armchairs Dimensions

22"D x 24"W x 40"H including armrests. Seat is 22"W. Armrests are 25.5"H from ground. Boards are fully 2" thick. Approx. Weight: 40 lbs.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our five grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of five ways (select during checkout):

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
