Our Window Boxes and Mini Planters are made with one-inch thick frames and 1/3" x 1 3/4" vertical slats. They are available in sizes up to ninety-six inches long and ten inches wide by ten inches tall. The Mini Planters come in sizes up to 17 inches long and 14 inches tall. The Window Planters are very popular on balconies too. They are well-priced sturdy little planters that ship fully assembled and ready to use with drainage holes pre-drilled.

The Heavy Duty Planter is made with one-and-a-half-inch thick frames and 5/8" x 1 3/4" vertical slats. They are available in sizes up to thirty-six inches wide by thirty-six inches high and lengths up to fourteen feet. The heavy duty planter can be made to sit flush on the ground or with legs to elevate 1 3/4" off the ground at no extra cost. They are strong, long-lasting boxes at a fraction of the cost of the Massive Planters. They ship in 5 easy to reassemble parts. Ready to use with drainage holes in the base and finely sanded and sealed to last for many years.

The Massive Planter is made with one-inch thick walls of high quality Redwood supported by a two-inch thick frame. They can be built with either horizontal or vertical boards. There are several design options also. You can order the vertical "tower" design, add feet to elevate the box off the ground and even add a sitting ledge at no extra cost. The massive planters can be built in almost any size. The sizes listed are some popular sizes, but if you have another size in mind, just let us know.

The Parquet Planter is our heaviest box yet — weighing in at nearly double the weights of our Massive line. This style is finely handcrafted only in a combination of Old-Growth and Mature redwood (colors vary with each piece of wood, and even out somewhat over time.) Parquet Planters can be ordered with or without legs (to elevate 1 3/4" off the ground). These beauties are available in almost any size you need, and in any of our tapered shapes or bonsai sizes as well. (Please call for additional tapered sizes if you would like something that isn't shown.) We also offer two kinds of corners: Parquet (horizontal, alternating wood) and Uniform (vertical trim). Vertical or Horizontal Slat Orientation
You will be able to choose whether you want the slats to be vertical or horizontal on many of our Massive and Heavy Duty planter boxes. You can also order our vertical "tower" design with the Massive planter boxes. (All for the same price - NO additional charges.)
With or Without Feet
Also, you can decide whether your planter box will have feet or sit flat on the ground. We can build any planter box with legs that elevate it 1 3/4" off the ground. (Same price - NO additional charges.)
 Or you can purchase super-strong casters at an additional charge. The casters are rated to handle 320 pounds each, and they lock in place! Casters can be added to almost any planter box for added mobility. We can add even stronger casters to larger planter boxes if you require. Just let us know.With or Without Sitting Ledge

The trellis frames attach to the rear of the planter wall with strong stainless steel carriage bolts in four places. The frame of the trellis is 2" x 2" thick and extends to just above ground level. The squares are made approximately 12" on center (depending on the length of your planter) to allow plants plenty of room to grow.

We can make Water Trays for planters in any size that you need. They can be made to sit outside the planter box as shown, or for larger planters, they can be built to sit inside the box where you can place potted plants. You can use these planters indoors as well as outside.

We also offer hanging cleats for planters up to 144"L X 12"H X 12"W— the cleats will be made with the same redwood grade as your planter. The cleats are shipped with the male portions already attached to the planter. We ship the female cleats loose—and include stainless steel screws—so that you can screw them into the wall. We'll attach two, three or more cleat pairs depending on the planter size, but your cost for the cleats is the same: $15 per planter.
Planter Stands

Just let us know the total height you'd like the top lip of your planter to be and we'll email the cost for the stands for your approval before starting.Decay Resistant
Redwood is so decay resistant that our planters do not need liners of any kind. Our planters are built with extra-thick high quality Redwood and fastened with stainless steel bolts and deck screws. There is nothing to decay, nothing to rust. Planter bottoms are elevated one inch off of the ground for easy drainage. You can add soil directly into the planter box - no pots, interior liners or sealants are necessary. Drainage holes are 1/4-inch round and are scattered generously over the planter bottom. All planter sizes are overbuilt to prevent bulging or sagging. |

Want to use our planters indoors with a wax finish? If you plan to use your planter indoors and wish to have a wax finish applied (no sealant or primer), we will only apply the wax to the outside of the box, not to the areas that will hold soil.
 Growing Veggies? Any planter can be ordered without interior treatment - just write us a note as you're checking out, and we will not use our oil-based sealant inside the box.
