Snack Trays

These Loungers come with Slide-Out Snack Tray(s). Single Chaise Loungers have one tray on the right side (standard) but you can choose to have yours on the left side (during the checkout process). Both Honeymoon and Double Chaise Loungers have double trays (one on each side).

Backrest Settings

All of our loungers have 5 backrest settings, from flat (parallel to the ground) to approximately 70 degrees for maximum flexibility and comfort. The Double Chaise Loungers have two separately adjustable backs. Perfect for relaxing, snoozing, reading, or just enjoying the sun.

Lounger Height

All loungers photographed at the standard 13" height. But we can also build your lounger bed at a 15.5" or 18" height at no extra cost. Option available during checkout.

Armrests

Optional armrests are available on all Penny's Chaise Loungers for an additional $70. The option to add armrests to your lounger is available during checkout.

Handmade Custom Cushions

Handmade Custom Cushions are available for our loungers. Just go to www.sunbrellacentral.com and let us know which outdoor fabric you’d like us to order to make your cushion. At checkout, the shopping cart will ask if you’d like a cushion. If you choose the cushion, there will be a box where you can type the fabric name and number. Most Sunbrella fabrics are under $20/yard and are included in the cushion price. If you prefer a premium fabric over $20/yard, just write it in the box at checkout. The cost over $20/yard will be manually added to your order total. Single sized loungers use 3 yards of fabric, the Honeymooner uses 4, and the Double uses 5. Lounger cushions are box construction with the fabric cut flush to the edge creating a line along the borders (no welt). At checkout, you can choose between a three or four-inch thick high density foam insert. The bottom side is made with a thick rubbery fabric to help keep the cushion from sliding. Also, your cushion can be made in three ways (same price):

1. With just one seam separating the backrest from the bed (2-section design)—see first photo above (not recommended for the Penny Loungers).
2. Or for space saving, a second seam is added to the bed so the cushion folds compactly in 3 sections (recommended design for the Penny Loungers).
3. Or, the most compact design is made with five sections (two for the backrests and three for the beds that folds up accordion style)—see the rest of photos above.

Sunbrella fabric is made to sit out in the sun and not fade. It’s machine washable. Each cushion has a zipper so you can remove the foam and wash the fabric. Each lounger has a 2” thick “pillow” cushion at the top of the backrest(s). The pillow cushion can be flipped back if you don’t want to use it. The cushions come with straps to secure underneath to the lounger. The double lounger cushions all have independent separate backrest cushions to allow for independent backrest positions.

Wood Samples: If you'd like to experience the quality of our wood before placing a furniture order—or if you'd like to see first-hand the difference between our four grades of wood—we offer a set of wood samples. For $20 we'll expedite your samples anywhere in the continental US (or $25 to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada). The purchase price will be refunded on your first furniture order.

Finish Options

Your furniture can be finished in one of six ways (select during checkout):

• Standard Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a quality semi-transparent linseed & tung oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 2 years. (Young-Growth will be stained to appear like Mature-Growth; learn more.)

• Premium Sealant

  If you want to keep the natural wood tones with a translucent Alkyd oil based product. This finish will hold the surface color for an average of 4 years.

• Unfinished

  Lets you apply your own stain, or let the wood fade to a "weathered look" in a few months.

• Off-White Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a light color. (We apply two coats.)

• Gray Oil-Based Primer

  If you're going to paint in a darker color. (We apply two coats.)

• Wax Finish

  If you plan to use your furniture indoors and would like to keep it looking great without sealant or paint.
