When we build one of our popular fat timber pavilions or pergolas, we always have left over short chunks of the exquisite fat timbers. We couldn't bring ourselves to throw this stuff away and took a stab at making a massive garden bench out of it. A certain fictitious cartoon married couple would have put it on their front porch for sure! It is not for the faint of heart. It is HEAVY and built to be danced on and abused for decades to come.
