Money Saving Options

There are 2 ways to buy a Swing Seat without spending much:

1. Go with Rope instead of steel chain to hang the swing. Order the swing seat alone with holes for a rope (total of 4 holes). You have the option of 1/2", 3/4" or 1" diameter holes. The wider the rope, the more comfortable it is to hold and the longer lasting. Good rope is available at most hardware stores or online. Figure out the rope size you want and order the swing seat with the same diameter holes. Just make one or two knots under the seat to hold the rope in place.
2. If you prefer steel, don't buy the hardware in Stainless Steel. Our Swing chains and hardware are made of 100% stainless steel to avoid rust or stain issues. To save $, you can buy standard steel chain (1/4") and hardware at your local hardware store for a fraction of the cost. Order the seat alone and your local hardware store can provide the chain, eyebolts (set of 4 - 3/8" x 6") and the fasteners (set of 4 clasps) to tie the chain and eyebolts together.
