Bonsai Planters - Dimensions & Drawings

The Bonsai planter is offered in one standard size that is commonly ordered for Bonsai plants. The standard size has a 12" Square Base and a 22" Square Top. Height is 12 1/2". The interior dimensions of the box are 1 1/2" less in all directions, or 10 1/2" square base, 20 1/2" square top and 10 1/2" of planting depth to the top lip.

Most customers first take the existing internal dimensions of the box they are replacing and either make the new one the exact same size or they add a bit of extra space as needed.

Bonsai planters do not need to be strongly tapered. We can build bonsai planters in any size or shape to fit your existing root structure. The tapered design is the most requested Bonsai box, but we also build Bonsai boxes with less taper or in a square shape.
