Beverage Ledge –Sits behind and atop the backrest boards. It serves 2 purposes: it's a spot to place drinks or other things and it is added when you do not want a large opening in-between the tree and the backrest of your tree bench (For example, when the tree bench is ordered for young or small trees). The standard Beverage Ledge is 9" deep after including the backrest board it is attached to. It can be made in any width up to 15" for the same price. Just note in the Comments/Special Request section if you want a width other than 9".

The 7 ft Diameter Tree Benches have a 27" opening behind the backrest prior to adding a Beverage Ledge. Adding a standard Beverage Ledge (9" deep) leaves a small opening of 5" in diameter. This may work for certain limited applications (like around a pole or thin masonry column or a tree you never expect to grow much).
